Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security when you log in to Zopa Dash.
As well as entering your password, you'll need to verify your identity using a one-time code.
This helps protect your merchant account from unauthorised access.
How does multi-factor authentication work?
When you log in to Zopa Dash, MFA requires you to provide two forms of verification:
- Your account password.
- A one-time authentication code.
Depending on your chosen authentication method, you'll receive or generate this code using your mobile phone, an authenticator app, or email.
Which MFA methods can I use?
Zopa Dash supports three MFA methods.
Option 1: SMS text message
You can receive a one-time authentication code by SMS on your mobile phone.
When you log in, a code will be sent to your registered mobile number.
You can then enter the code to complete your login.
Good to know: You don't need to install an additional app to use SMS authentication.
Option 2: Authenticator app
An authenticator app generates one-time codes on your mobile phone that you can use to verify your identity.
This method is recommended for its additional security.
Popular authenticator apps include:
- Google Authenticator: Download and set up Google Authenticator
- Authy: Set up Authy
Follow your chosen app's instructions to complete the setup.
Option 3: Email
You can choose to receive a one-time authentication code by email.
When you log in, a temporary 6-digit code will be sent to your registered email address.
Enter the code to complete your login.
