Zopa provides a test environment that allows you to test payment methods and customer journeys before going live.
The test environment simulates transactions without creating real payments or moving any funds. This allows you to safely test your integration and storefront setup before launch.
Request a test environment
If you'd like a test environment, contact retaileronboarding@dividebuy.co.uk
We'll ask for an email address to set up as the primary user of the environment.
Once created:
- You'll receive an email invitation.
- Set your password.
- Log in to the test dashboard.
You can add additional users after setup if required.
Things to know about test environments
- Test environments are completely separate from live environments.
- Test environments have their own users and login credentials.
- No real payments are processed.
- No funds are moved.
- Your live website should never be connected to a test environment.
- Live payment credentials should never be used in a test environment.
- Branding and configuration changes can be tested safely before making them in production.

Important: Test API key usage warning
Our test and live environments each have their own API keys.
The Test API key should only be used in your test store.
The Live API key should only be used in your live store.
⚠️ Only use your Live API key in your live online store.
Using a Test API key in a live store may cause transactions to be processed using simulated payment methods and could result in orders being incorrectly marked as paid.
Access your Test API key
- Log in to the Zopa Test Dashboard.
- Select Settings from the left-hand menu.
- Locate the API Key section.
- Confirm the yellow banner displays "These are Test API credentials".
- Copy the Test API key.
- Add the key to your WooCommerce or Magento test environment.
